Library ServicesWiFiThe Library offers free WiFi access throughout the library. The connection is secure and encrypted. A password is required and is available at the reference desk. Reference and Information AssistanceThe librarians at the Maryland State Law Library are committed to the highest level of customer service. In person, via e-mail or by phone, the staff can help both novice and advanced researchers. Public ComputersThe library has eight public computers with access to the Internet and many major legal and news databases. Photocopiers and Microfilm PrintersThe library has two self-service copy machines. Each public computer and microfilm reader has an attached printer. Copies are 25 cents per page. Document DeliveryLibrary staff can e-mail or fax many items that are unique to the Library's collection, including unreported opinions, superseded statutes, and laws of other states. Interlibrary LoanAlthough materials in the library do not circulate to the public, we do lend some materials to other libraries. Check with your local library about its interlibrary loan procedures.
