WiFi Access and Public Computers

WiFi Access

The Maryland State Law Library offers free WiFi to library patrons. The network is secure and encrypted. To provide this level of security a password is required. Just ask at the Information Desk for the current password.

The following databases are available through the WiFi network:

• HeinOnline
• Index to Legal Periodicals (Current and Retro)
• LegalTrac
• LLMC Digital Scanned versions Maryland reporters 1658-1922. Also includes other states and federal courts
• Making of Modern Law
• Maryland Legal Forms
• Baltimore Sun via Proquest Current and Retrospective
• Newspaper Archive Includes archive of the Annapolis Capital
• CCH's IntelliConnect

Public Computers

The Maryland State Law Library has 8 public computers and printers. Use of these computers is on a first come first serve basis. The library reserves the right to impose time limits and restrict Internet access.

Computers include:

• Full Internet access
• USB Ports
• CD Rom Drive
• Floppy Drive (5.25 inch)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
• WordPerfect
• Laser printer (25 cents per page)
• Headphones are available upon request
• Flash Drives are available for sale
• Access to library databases
